DJI AL2D Spotlight (For DJI Matrice 5TD)
Enquire Now
The DJI AL2D Spotlight puts a gimbal-stabilised light on the DJI Matrice 5TD for night work from a DJI Dock 4. Its narrow spot beam lights a target at about 11.2 lux from 100 m away, and its wider flood beam covers around 1,300 m² at the same distance for searching an area.
The light follows the camera gimbal, so the beam stays on whatever the pilot is watching. In Auto mode it pairs the flood beam with the wide-angle camera and the spot beam with the telephoto camera. Slow and fast strobe modes are there for signalling and warnings. Brightness, mode and gimbal linkage are all set from the DJI FlightHub 2 virtual cockpit.
It fits the right side of the Matrice 5TD Accessory Mount and can fly alongside the AS2D Speaker and AP1 Parachute. Visual obstacle sensing switches off while the spotlight is lit, leaving the aircraft's mmWave radar and LiDAR, so plan flight paths with that in mind.
Sold separately.
Key Specs:
Approx. 115 g (excluding bracket)
91 × 54 × 60 mm (excluding bracket)
Spotlight approx. 11.2 lux at 100 m, 14.5° beam
Floodlight approx. 2.7 lux at 100 m, 23° beam
Lit area at 100 m approx. 500 m² (spot) and 1,300 m² (flood)
Spotlight, floodlight, both on and auto modes, plus slow and fast strobe
Maximum power 40 W spot, 18 W flood, 48 W both on
Gimbal follow with -90° to +90° controllable tilt, up to 120°/s, ±0.1° alignment accuracy
Mounts on the right side of the Matrice 5TD Accessory Mount
IP55 ingress protection rating
-40°C to 50°C operating temperature
Max flight time approx. 55 minutes with the spotlight fitted, 48 minutes while lit (59 minutes without accessories, at 15 m/s)
Includes:
DJI AL2D Spotlight × 1
DJI Matrice 5TD Series Accessory Mount × 1
Do not point the spotlight at people's eyes. It gets hot after long use, and dimming it when full brightness is not needed extends flight time.
