The XGRIDS Lixel K2 is a handheld SLAM LiDAR scanner. Walk through a building or site and it builds a measurable, full-colour point cloud as you go. No tripod, no setup between stations, no second operator. At roughly 1.2 kg it runs off one hand for the length of a battery.

Accuracy is 1 cm relative and 3 cm absolute, with post-processed point cloud thickness of 1 cm or less. Walls, openings and edges come through tight enough to draft from directly. The RTK module is built into the scanner rather than bolted on, so real-time centimetre-level positioning is standard rather than an upgrade.

Three cameras, two fisheye and one forward-facing, colourise the cloud as it is captured. You see the coloured result live on your phone through the LixelGO app, which means gaps and missed coverage get picked up while you are still on site instead of back at the desk.

One capture feeds multiple deliverables. LixelStudio 4.0 handles point cloud processing, mesh generation, volumetrics and panoramic output. Lixel CyberColor turns the same scan into 3D Gaussian Splatting for digital twin and visualisation work.

Suited to real estate measurement, as-built and Scan to BIM capture, construction progress documentation, heritage recording and stockpile volumetrics.
